Even though Oppo just came out with three new phones in the Oppo Reno 9 series, there are still rumors that the company is working hard on the Oppo Reno 8T. A new report says that Oppo may also be working on a 5G version of this device. Supposedly, the Oppo Reno 8T 5G has been listed on a number of certification sites. These postings don’t say anything about price or availability, which is a shame. In the days to come, it’s likely that we’ll learn more.
PriceBaba says that the model number CPH2505 for the Oppo Reno 8T 5G has been spotted in the IMDA database. The European Electrotechnical Commission (EEC) and the Thai Certification and Development Network (TKDN) are also said to have seen this design.
According to the listings, this Oppo phone will support 5G as well as 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, Near Field Communication (NFC), and Global Positioning System (GPS). The company hasn’t said anything about the Oppo Reno 8T 5G yet. Early in December, the Oppo Reno 8T (4G) also showed up on TKDN, EEC, and BIS. Reports also said that SIRIM and Element Materials Technology had approved an Oppo smartphone with the model number CPH2481.
It is said that this model will work with 33W fast wired charging. No one knows how much it will cost yet. Even though it charges slower than the Oppo Reno 8, which supports 80W fast charging, this may mean that it costs less. Oppo Reno 8 was first sold in India in January for a starting price of Rs. 29,999 for the most basic model. The Oppo Reno 9 series also just started selling in China. This item’s least expensive version costs CNY 2,499. (roughly Rs. 30,000). Oppo’s new flagship series also includes the Oppo Reno 9 Pro and the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+.
