Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 features and specs?
Even though it will be a while until the new Fold is released, speculation regarding the update’s purported features has begun. The Elec, a Korean technology website, has been the primary source of leaks so far, claiming that the next Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, which is scheduled to debut at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit in November. Early indications suggest that the processor will have enhanced energy efficiency and better heat management, resulting in cooler phones even under sustained operation.
According to the story, the Fold 5’s triple camera setup will consist of the same 50-megapixel primary sensor (the Samsung ISOCELL GN3), 12-megapixel ultrawide, and 10-megapixel telephoto lenses as the Fold 4. The Elec claims the front-facing camera will include a 12Mp sensor, which is an upgrade from the 10Mp sensor found in the current iteration of the Fold 4.
Since Samsung revamped the Fold 4’s hinge, we don’t anticipate major design adjustments in the next iteration. As a result, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 may have similar hardware as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which included a 6.2-inch AMOLED cover display and a 7.6-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
